Cemetery

Emmanuel Cemetery was established in 1968 when Alice duPont Mills gave 2.7 acres
adjoining Sharon Cemetery to Emmanuel Church. The same year the church bought 5.7
additional acres.

The Emmanuel Middleburg Memorial Cemetery completely encircles the Baptist Church
on East Federal Street. You may enter between the stone pillars on East Federal street
and stroll or drive along the creek to the large pond, then up the drive and exit at the end
of East Federal Street. Or reverse the direction, Sharon Cemetery which is encircled by
black iron fencing within the Emmanuel cemetery is a private cemetery administered by
a separate board of directors, without connection to Emmanuel.

All are welcome to enjoy the peaceful, garden-like setting. Please pick up after your dogs
and deposit waste and trash away from the grounds.

The Emmanuel Middleburg Memorial Cemetery Association consists of three members,
chaired by Norris Beavers.
