Who We Are
OUR PARISH
Emmanuel Episcopal Church of Middleburg, Virginia is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia,
a part of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America, and a member of the worldwide
Anglican Communion. While we are located in the heart of Middleburg, our diverse faith community
is comprised of parishioners attracted from Leesburg to the east, Warrenton to the south and Winchester to the west.
The culture is open and warm. Our intimate, 170 year old, worship space, spiritually energized
under the leadership of our rector, Rev. Anne Hallmark, embraces liturgy that addresses the
needs of everyone from the committed believer to the questing pilgrim. The dedication of
our members drives an array of contributions to the needs of each other, of the Middleburg
community and even to God’s children across the globe.
