For  seven years Emmanuel and Grace Church in The Plains have teamed in

July to spend a week working on houses and properties for people in need. 

In 2007 and 2008 our teenagers and adults did Katrina reconstruction in
Mississippi.  From 2009 to 2012 we’ve continued to spruce up houses and
grounds of people wrestling with trying circumstances.  Last year we
packed clothes for shipment to Haiti and helped brighten the grounds of a
women’s shelter.  A tradition now is to spend a few days at Seven
Loaves painting the rooms to keep them fresh.

community service hours!  We’re always looking for new faces and fresh
